On Monday February 21 Schibsted Media Group was awarded the prize “Partner Enterprise of the Year” (Årets Partnerföretag 2011) by the Swedish branch of the Scandinavian talent network Nova Networks. Nova Networks is a talent network for top students (Nova 100), recent graduates and young professionals (Nova Pro).
According to the jury, the reasons for awarding Schibsted the prize were as follows:
“For your never-decreasing commitment and your dedicated efforts at the events that you carry out within the Nova network - always of superior quality and consequently causing top qualifications from the Novos that you meet.
In a fantastic way you also succeed at transmitting the true joy and pride that you obviously feel for your company.”
According to Jonas Behrendt, Head of Schibsted Media Group’s trainee program, being a member of the Nova 100 network is a great way to get in touch with Sweden’s best students and also show them what Schibsted as a company represents.
- To receive the prize as Partner Company of the Year is proof that the kind of students we are keen to attract find us exciting and relevant as a company, and that new people open their eyes to who we are and what we stand for, says Behrendt, who received the prize on Schibsted Media Group’s behalf.
Top ten list
Based on a survey carried out by Nova Networks, Schibsted Media Group is now ranked as number seven on the list of companies where Sweden’s top students, primarily within economics, law and technology, would like to work.
900 students who have been accepted into the talent network Nova 100 based on their academic results, drive, business talent and emotional intelligence participated in the survey.
